Here is your chance to own this antique softbound booklet titled: Excursion To The Oregon By John K Townsend Inside 2nd page at bottom (see photo) states: *We draw the materials for our account from "Excursion to the Rocky Mountains, by J.K. Townsend", a work published at Philadelphia in 1839* This small soft booklet has been rebound on spine, not sure if it ever had a cover or not, if so, it's missing. Has a total of 32 pages, a hand colored picture on front page, chips on edges, minor discoloration, but is otherwise in Very Good condition. Not sure exactly when this booklet was produced, but believe it to be around 1846. A real piece of history and super cool! Has been stored in plastic and also in a little handmade cover to protect it, as shown in photos. Measures 6.75"x4.25" See photos for details. Please ask if you have questions!
