Beautiful antique Japanese porcelain Arita vase. Features hand-painted chrysanthemum flower design with butterflies on a gold background. In amazing antique condition, there isn't a single flaw I see on this piece! My photos also do it no justice. Vase measures approx 5.5" tall. Marked with a brushed on character I have not identified. There is also a brushed on marking inside the vase, below the neck. Acquired from an estate along with the peacock plate I also have listed; which bears a Yamatoku mark incised under the glaze and is quite similar in it's construction.
