Mostly a baseball statistical book, only one like it back in 1908, first published 1907. The book literally says there is nothing like it. A likely precursor to the Balldom baseball encyclopedia, published in 1914 by the same George Moreland. Okay shape for the age, the cover is the most damaged part, the binding is still intact and can easily go through the pages. Hard to find information on this item, great piece of baseball and statistical history. It will be shipped with care. It includes records dating back to 1885, the different teams that have played, as well as the many leagues established in the US and Canada as of 1908. There are yearly stats for Ty Cobb and Honus Wagner, amazing stuff. Throughout the book, baseball's rules and explanations are detailed, even the spitball.
