Beautiful Sancai glazed nesting pots from the island of Awaji Japan no breaks or fractures or chips missing Made in Japan is clearly marked on the bottom and each pot has a matching lid for a complete set. Us tariff laws required country of origin starting in 1890 . Awaji pottery marked Made in Japan dates the pottery to be between 1922-1939 and also the kilns closed in 1939 never to make pottery again under the Danto (group).
