Very unique unusual Folk Art Skull carved in wood. The eyes and nose are carved in ie the black areas are 3 dimensional. It is signed by what looks to be possibly M J and ‘6. But it may be upside down I have no idea. I am downsizing a lot of things after a move.. Purchased from an elderly gentleman in New Mexico who acquired per him “a really long time ago" during a trip to Mexico. He could not remember anything else ie who signed it, year, etc. Dimensions 7" H, 6" D, 5" W, see pics for skull next to ruler. Condition is very good vintage/antique. Please see all pics to show condition. Note I use a ring light which creates a round reflection, which is not flaw.Very nice vintage/antique.
