Manhattan Brass Co. Brass Patented Skater's Finger Lantern Circa 1867 with colorless tapered globe, removable perforated cap with original chain and ring handle, impressed "PATD DEC. 24 1867", Approximately 7" tall with a 3" base. This lovely little brass frame lantern with tin bottom and unusual brass finger-hold with uranium glass globe and stack breather top with chain is in overall good antique condition. The metal has some patina, light scratches, and rust spots on the bottom. There are a few dings and dents from use. There is significant chipping on the top of the globe, completely hidden when the stack is on. Please see photos for details. Lovely early period Victorian fully functional kerosene oil petite size lantern to add to any collection or any decor.
