Sigma taste setter. This beautiful footed serving bowl was hand made and hand painted, it is signed AMM Made In Italy. The bowl measures 10” wide, 7” deep and 4 3/8” high without the domed lid. 8” high with the domed lid. In fair condition with some cracks as seen in photos. The Garofano (Blue Carnation) pattern, was initially developed in the Italian region of Lombardia, and later became a world-famous "signature-pattern" from the Majolica town of Faenza. The pattern is a true Italian classic from this renowned city which is by cultural tradition defined as City of the Ceramics which lies 30 miles south of Bologna in the northeast part of Italy.
