The 1990 New York Mets were a talented but underachieving team, finishing second in the National League East with a 91-71 record, six games behind the Pittsburgh Pirates. Led by star players like Darryl Strawberry, who hit 37 home runs, and David Cone, who posted a 14-10 record with a 3.23 ERA, the Mets had both power and solid pitching. However, internal strife, inconsistent play, and managerial changes-Buddy Harrelson took over mid-season-prevented them from overtaking the surging Pirates. Despite having a strong roster, the Mets missed the postseason, marking the end of their era as a consistent contender in the late 1980s. Offered is a Rawlings ONL-White baseball signed by the squad. Among the signers thirty signers are Darryl Strawberry, Frank Viola, David Cone, Bud Harrelson, and more. Light toning exhibited throughout.
