This listing is for a gorgeous 1930s Sadler Teapot in the known shape of "Marquee" or "Carousel". The scalloped bell shaped teapot is in fantastic condition with no loss of the gold gilding and it is marked with the raised "England" backstamp, and hand-numbered in gold. No chips or cracks on the teapot itself but the lid has a tiny chip which is hardly noticeable unless you look close. I have shown it with the tip of my pen next to it to give you an idea of the size. Also on the lid, there is a small spot where the glazing was missed during the production of the piece. I am also adding a close up image of this spot. Everything else about this piece is in great condition and would make a great addition to any collectors out there who appreciate the beauty of these old pieces. Measures approximately 6.2" tall to tip of finial by 8.2" from tip of spout to outside of handle. Thank you for looking and please
