RARE Antique Labeled and Made in India Brass & Silver Decorative 12" x 8" Box. This stunning piece of metalwork features an antiqued silver diamond shape on the top and a repeating floral design around its edges and sides. I've seen similar described as hammered, which it may be, but I'm not sure how the box was made. It opens and closes with ease and has 2 working side fasteners. Great decorative piece for your home or a fancy jewelry box, trinket box, etc. The inside of the box measures 11"x7" and is lined with a plush black suede material. This would make an excellent Christmas or Hanukkah gift for the conesour of antiquities. Very good condition for its age, but it's not perfect. Please examine all pictures as they are part of desc.
