This listing is for this early painting by Adams Wirt Garret, 1908-2000. Titled "post card". Garrett was born in Fornay Texas. He studied at the teachers college at Columbia University, and at the art students League in New York. Garrett's exhibition venues included the Parsons School of design for the WPA, the art institute of Chicago, and the San Francisco museum of art. A lot of his paintings were hung at his daughter's home in Vermont until her recent passing. This is a large painting, approximately 36" x 30". It is unframed, and it's signed Garrett
