This is an Asahi Pentax SMC Macro 50mm f/4 lens, complete with its original leather carrying case lined in red felt. It’s a manual-focus K-mount lens produced in Japan by Asahi Optical (later known as Pentax). You’ll notice the aperture range goes from f/4 to f/32, and the focus ring and aperture ring both move smoothly. The optics look clear, and it’s well-suited for close-up (macro) photography but also works nicely for portraits and general shooting on compatible film and digital cameras (with the right adapter for digital).
