One of the earliest sets to be released for the Tomy Thomas & Friends toy range, the Deluxe Set features Thomas the Tank Engine & Bertie the Bus racing around Sodor, busy delivering passengers. The set features the ORIGINAL 1992 Thomas, with the face molded into the smokebox and before the addition of his middle wheel. Both Thomas and Bertie have been tested and work fine, though they may need time for their motors to warm up at first. Thomas takes one "AA" battery and Bertie needs one "AAA" battery. The box has sustained some damage, one of the side flaps is partially missing and what seems to be a price tag has been ripped off. The set is 95% complete, with the only pieces missing being the two trees that plug into the rail crossing. A classic set for any Thomas & Friends collector to own!
