Up for sale is your opportunity to purchase a Akai Reel To Reel Tape Player & Recorder Model Number GX-255 . The unit powers up, loads a tape and plays the tape in the forward mode and also in reverse direction, both play modes are functional, however, the left channel audio is not working in the playback mode, but does record on the left channel, the right channel does have output in both playback and record modes. The unit could use some maintenance, With that and its age the unit is Sold "As Is - No Returns" for Parts and/or repairs. This unit will need to be serviced to bring the unit back to the factory specifications and repair the audio output if not being used for parts.
