2003 Happy Family Midge ( expecting:)….Yep, the doll that was removed from the shelves back in the day. Parents thought she would contribute to teen pregnancy..like that wasn’t already happening. The doll was very quickly discontinued and now, pregnant Midge sell for hundreds of dollars online. Due to tight storage, the unopened box has a few dings, but considering she’s 20 + that’s not surprising. All the original components are there. Unfortunately, as with many Mattel older items, the threads on baby came loose from the scale…see pics..baby is there. The gender of the baby is a surprise…cute idea. I have listed her as “ like new” because she is unused, in a factory sealed box. This is a relatively rare item a perfect choice for collectors. Thank you for looking!
