The lower light is inside the Octagonal chamber surrounded by red glass panels with X's on sides. Access to the chamber is through a locking panel at the bottom. I connected a standard plug & cord to ensure it works. Both fixtures work. But independently. May be a 3- Set up. This light is Gothic. Very unique.
