Vintage Limoges Orchids France Hand Painted Plate Gold Elaborate Trim 8 1/4" Beauty Rare Find! Porcelain factory partnered by Gustave Vogt (1849-1937) and Émilien de Tressemanes. Their partnership began in 1882 when they ran the Limoges-based decorating firm founded in the 1850s by John Vogt . Their factory produced high-quality whiteware for the American export market. Limoges orchid dinner plate by T&V Tressemann & Vogt of Sabots de Venus pattern. It has a wide border of dark green graduating to light green. The edge is heavily gilted. Beautiful Sabot de Venus Orchids adorn this plate with vibrant pink, yellow, and green colors. In excellent condition with little signs of age.
